Typical Jerrod-politics
Everyone else I've seen has a range from like 15% to 80%. Instead, I apparently am beyond categories:

65% Ron Paul
59% Rudy Giuliani
58% Bill Richardson
57% John McCain
56% Mike Huckabee
55% Chris Dodd
55% Mike Gravel
50% Mitt Romney
49% Joe Biden
49% Dennis Kucinich
47% Tom Tancredo
46% Hillary Clinton
46% Barack Obama
45% Fred Thompson
44% John Edwards

2008 Presidential Candidate Matching Quiz

The health care question on this quiz has really poor alternatives imo, so I just marked it as "no significant changes" and Don't care, even though that's not true at all.

By the way, this campaign has made me happy that Chris Dodd is my senator. I didn't know that I was happy about that before. This is especially pleasing in light of the four senators I've had most recently before moving to Connecticut: Kennedy, Kerry, Feinstein, and Boxer. :P

I have a lot of respect for Chris Dodd now too. It's too bad he didn't draw more support.

You're actually the first person I've seen (self-included) that doesn't just have big clusters of red and blue. And I wouldn't really consider the people I've seen post their results to be single-minded or dogmatic at all.

Yeah, I think it has to do with the quiz design. My personal mental ranking certainly doesn't list all the democrats before all the republicans, though the results I got did.

My mental ranking is more-or-less like this:

Ron Paul
John McCain
Hillary Clinton
Fred Thompson
Chris Dodd
Joe Biden
Mitt Romney
Barack Obama
Rudy Giuliani
Mike Gravel
Dennis Kucinich
Bill Richardson
Mike Huckabee
John Edwards
Tom Tancredo

I've had this "narrow-band" thing on many other presidential quizzes. I suspect it's because I am pro-choice, pro-gay-marriage, pro-drug-legalization, pro-stemcells, anti-death-penalty but also anti-spending, anti-national-health-care, pro-privatizingSocSec, and pro-gunrights.

This confuses 15-question polls. Also I am pretty deeply dissatisfied with all candidates from all parties. I support Ron Paul because I think he's the best hope for real change, even though I don't agree with lots of his positions.
