Um, yeah, "frontrunner"
From OpinionJournal's Best of the Web:

(there's no permalink right now that I can see, so http://www.opinionjournal.com/best/ will work for now. I'll edit it later):

Mitt Romney, who beat McCain in Michigan, won only the zinc in South Carolina, finishing behind Fred Thompson as well as McCain and Huckabee. But Romney did get a gold in the Nevada caucuses. Rudy Giuliani finished sixth in both South Carolina and Nevada, with 2% and 4% of the vote, respectively. If Giuliani doesn't do better than this in Florida, it will be enough to call into question his status as the GOP front-runner.

Um, anyone who thinks Giuliani is still the frontrunner is not qualified to handicap elections. Sheesh. Giuliani might be angling to set the record for "fastest exit by a previous frontrunner from a campaign without trying to win any votes."

Well, ok. But Giuliani's strategy of "just keep punting states until the guy who pulls from the same pool of voters that I do becomes the frontrunner" is pretty bad. :)

He has 1 more vote than anyone here, and last time I checked, we're not running.

I'm a bit slow on the uptake, but I did start shorting Giuliani today, at 16 or so.

Sadly I have a bunch of McCain exposure which is deeply under. I've been hedging it by buying McCain for president, because I think he's the only electable Republican, and his conditional price seems low (20 vs 50, so 40% to get elected). If he gets the nom, I'll sell it, as long as the price is reasonable (close to 50).

My thompson, Paul, and Huck shorts are pretty happy, though.

I'm still wavering on whether shorting Obama for VP at 15 is a good bet.
